  • Building on what already exists.
  • Without a big bang, without reinventing everything.
  • But prioritizing an interactive approach at every stage, from designing each screen to development, and even implementing data on the cloud.

By creating an online citizen portal

The idea: to start from the needs of citizens and public agents to provide perfectly tailored digital services. Therefore, we focused on UX (User Experience), making technology a non-issue.

The first milestone of this project: the creation of a digital income declaration process for the 2023 income declaration campaign.

  • Mission of design and scalable architecture to build the platform.
  • Creation of mockups and user tests to validate the approach.
  • Development and user testing, followed by production rollout for the 2023 income tax declaration campaign.

Before

Tools that are difficult for the Collectivity’s agents to use.

A complex filing and collection process, requiring visits to the tax office.

A rigid model based on outdated metropolitan standards.

Thanks to Synako, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin is gradually implementing digital solutions tailored to its territorial specificities, making the daily lives of both its citizens and agents easier, without a disruptive overhaul.

With one goal: to build a complete catalog of online services to extend this digital convenience to all citizen procedures.
